DESCRIPTION

Curcumin has been a part of Ayurveda since forever (the oldest comprehensive medical system on the principles of a healthy lifestyle). It is produced from the turmeric plant. Its root is also used to make spices and is part of a famous mixture – curry – and the food turns a deep yellow color. However, natural turmeric is very difficult for the body to absorb at higher doses, the percentage of absorption varies, but it can only be as low as 3% of the substance. Therefore, we have prepared it for you in liposomal [1] form.

In addition to the mentioned features, the essential benefits of curcumin include its anti-inflammatory effect. A test in which 172 people were given curcumin compared to 170 people who only thought they had received curcumin (placebo) showed that the level of a substance indicating ongoing inflammation in the body was significantly reduced, reducing inflammation. In connection with the anti-inflammatory effects, it can help relieve joint pain caused by inflammation.

It also helps to improve the body’s antioxidant [2] properties.

[2] antioxidant: a substance that limits or reduces the amount of free radicals. Free radicals are tiny harmful particles. Because they are free, they prefer to bond with something. Therefore, they attack the cells and damage them. The damaged cells then spill into their surroundings, and since the cells also contain substances causing decomposition, it damages the surrounding cells. It is how the inflammatory process begins. Free radicals can damage or deactivate essential parts of the body. Free radicals are mainly caused by a poor lifestyle (poor diet, little exercise, smoking) or chemical stress from the outside (polluted air, radiation and others).

Many scientific studies have confirmed these features. Among other things, it has been found that the substance piperine greatly aids the absorption of the powdered form of curcumin – this substance is to be found in black pepper and therefore, it is good to combine curcumin with black pepper. The second solution is to use the excellent solubility of curcumin in fats and effectively get it into the body. Thanks to this effect, we were able to create liposomal curcumin and achieve high efficacy and absorption.

Unlike standard forms, the liposomal form has up to 6 times higher absorption. For comparison – there are the following regular forms:

To provide a simple explanation, the food supplement itself is wrapped in tiny bubbles (called liposomes, hence the name liposomal, and made by a unique process from the natural substance lecithin). These mini bubbles protect the nutritional supplement. Besides, they “communicate” with the walls of the intestines, so they easily get into the blood and blood carries them to the cells. They also get along very well, so the cell very quickly accepts a “delivery” and therefore, more than 90% of the food supplement gets where it heads to and is used. Besides, this form is not too heavy to be processed by the stomach.
